The Sauna Bell Curve Model

We offer 60-minute sessions so our clients can fully enjoy the sauna as it’s meant to be experienced. We recommend following the Bell Curve approach:

  1. Start with a gentle session, lasting 5 to 10 minutes depending on your experience with saunas.

  2. Take a cooling break, aiming to get as cold as you were hot. This helps balance your body temperature.

  3. Return for a longer session, increasing the duration to 10 to 20 minutes. Listen to your body and take another break when needed, cooling down again as before.

  4. End with a final gentle session, lasting 5 to 10 minutes, based on your tolerance.

Some people prefer finishing with another cold therapy session, while others enjoy ending with the warmth of the sauna. Cooling breaks are an essential part of the process, often overlooked, but crucial to gaining the full benefits of heat therapy.
